Win Or Lose, You Have To Adjust

Good morning If only all of you knew how tired I was, I’m telling you I should be having 40 winks by now but instead I wanted to keep to my promise which was giving you an extra blog post this week. I have church early tomorrow like its sooooo early I feel like I am getting up to do a cleaning job in an office, ooh ministry it is not a joke at all, trust me it really isn’t but what I can say is that it is exceptionally rewarding in so many different ways. This weekend I have spoke a lot about business, in regards to consultancy and ideas etc.and how to adjust. Now I wouldn’t say I am an expert on business, but I have had my fair share of a business before and I can say I learnt a lot along the way,and I am still learning, but also I couldn’t have learnt anything without having the guidance of my uncle when I was 7, he truly paved the way for me and my ideas as a little girl. God bless him.Anyway I was doing a business transaction during the week and it was something I wanted to buy, long story cut short, I didn’t need half of the things I wanted to purchase as someone had blessed me with me it and I decided I just wanted two small items. Now when I related this to the business owner, they was upset and explained that time was wasted, which I apologised for, but things turned around quickly very strangely and the business owner literally rejected my bid to buy the smaller items because I wasn’t buying the bigger items and had an attitude to approach the situation, I won’t even lie cos my first reaction was to laugh cos I found it childish very childish.Rule Number 1 in Business

Be prepared to win and lose. It’s very simple its a skill. if your a business owner and you have not managed to learn  that yet, then I don’t think business is for you tbh. The simple fact that I told this business owner that I couldn’t buy the bigger items because someone bought them for me, which I apologised and when she expressed her disappoint I apologised again, that should have been the end of that and we could both move on easily, but no that business owner had to be rude and get  into their feelings, that they rejected my offer of buying the smaller items and got a lil shady. Which  was a very silly move, to the point that she has lost money, custom and recommendations because they were in their feelings, hmmmmm as I always say BUSINESS IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. Simple.

When I spoke to a friend about it, she says I should confront the person, speak to them and give them guidance on how they can act properly. I am all for that as I am very real and at the same time blunt, but number 1 I don’t want anyone crying oo, they probably can not handle Criticism.  Number 2 sometimes you can’t help those who don’t want to be helped. My friend did give me a scripture to stand on, which I will use to stand on. I gotta go now cos my bed is calling me and tomorrow is a long day, but seriously why am I craving Kenkey, fried fish and shito please eiiiii, let me go sleep ooo. Night xx““Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭18:15-17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
